Instructor’s Guides

The homeschool curriculum package includes a 36-Week, 4-Day schedule, allowing you to save one day each week for co-ops, music lessons, sports, field trips, or other extracurricular activities. Each guide features colorful map answer keys, discussion questions and answers, as well as background notes to help you maximize your time with your child.

With all lesson plans and organization done for you, you can focus on enjoying your children and learning together. Let the discussion questions and great books inspire meaningful conversations about family, politics, history, and character. Simply open your guide each day to see what to read and discuss.

Virtual Learning

An optional online platform enables students to access reading schedules, take assessments, and receive instant auto-grading results. Parents can track and review student work, customize assessments, and message students directly from a computer or mobile device. Each Virtual course includes one student and one parent/teacher account.

If purchased in April, May, or June, access to the Virtual platform can start as early as July 1st. You can begin your course on a date of your choice, up to six months from the purchase date. Please note that virtual courses must be started within six months of purchase, and you will have 12 months from your start date to complete the course.

History & Geography │ World History - Year 2 of 2

Your history books, read-alouds, readers, and language arts lessons are all integrated for a cohesive learning experience.

The final two volumes of The Story of the World provide a gripping, story-based journey through history, while the critically acclaimed Kingfisher History Encyclopedia, organized into ten historical eras, serves as a comprehensive research resource and companion to your study of World History. Timeline Figures are included on pre-gummed heavy cardstock; simply cut them out, color them, and place them in The Timeline Book (included in the Required Resources). This book can be used for several years.

The optional World History II - Lap Book Kit can be added to this 7th grade homeschool curriculum package under the Customize Tab and is scheduled in the Instructor's Guide for your convenience.

Read-Alouds

Enjoy this final set of read-alouds with your children, enhancing their understanding of history through engaging stories.

Readers

Provide your children with heroes who inspire courage, strength, and honor. The readers supplement your history studies by depicting life from diverse perspectives, including those from Russia to Peru, Puritan America to Imperial Japan.

Language Arts

We've enhanced the Language Arts program to balance creative writing, grammar, and writing mechanics. More specific parent instructions are included in the Instructor's Guide. Students will engage in creative writing, essay composition, and literature analysis, finding both instruction and inspiration for great writing.

An optional supplement, Wordly Wise 3000, Book 7 & Teacher's Key, is scheduled in the guide for convenience but is not required (not included in the All-Subject Package unless added via the Customize Tab).

Science │ Conservation, Robotics, and Technology

This module covers topics such as energy, conservation, robotics, the human brain, and technology. It includes projects, experiments, and activity sheets to engage your middle school student and inspire interest in these fascinating fields of study.

Math

The Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Universal Set is included in this All-Subject Package. You may also choose from other math programs, such as Saxon or Singapore, using the customize tab. To assess your student's readiness for Pre-Algebra, please take the Pre-Algebra Readiness Assessment.

Required Resources for Your homeschool curriculum

A few essential resources enrich your learning experience this year, including The Timeline Book, Markable Map & Markers, and a 3” Binder with Tabs to help organize your Instructor’s Guides. Both The Timeline Book and Markable Map only need to be purchased once, as you will use them each year.
